| | 37:1 | 〔大衛的詩。〕不要為作惡的、心懷不平、也不要向那行不義的、生出嫉妒。 | Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. |
| | 37:2 | 因為他們如草快被割下、又如青菜快要枯乾。 | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. |
| | 37:3 | 你當倚靠耶和華而行善．住在地上、以他的信實為糧． | Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. |
| | 37:4 | 又要以耶和華為樂．他就將你心裏所求的賜給你。 | Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |
| | 37:5 | 當將你的事交託耶和華、並倚靠他、他就必成全。 | Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. |
| | 37:6 | 他要使你的公義、如光發出、使你的公平、明如正午。 | And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. |
| | 37:7 | 你當默然倚靠耶和華、耐性等候他．不要因那道路通達的、和那惡謀成就的、心懷不平。 | Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |
| | 37:8 | 當止住怒氣、離棄忿怒．不要心懷不平、以致作惡。 | Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. |
| | 37:9 | 因為作惡的、必被剪除．惟有等候耶和華的、必承受地土。 | For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. |
| | 37:10 | 還有片時、惡人要歸於無有．你就是細察他的住處、也要歸於無有。 | For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. |
| | 37:11 | 但謙卑人必承受地土、以豐盛的平安為樂。 | But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. |
| | 37:12 | 惡人設謀害義人、又向他咬牙。 | The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. |
| | 37:13 | 主要笑他、因見他受罰的日子將要來到。 | The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. |
| | 37:14 | 惡人已經弓上弦、刀出鞘、要打倒困苦窮乏的人、要殺害行動正直的人。 | The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. |
| | 37:15 | 他們的刀、必刺入自己的心、他們的弓、必被折斷。 | Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. |
| | 37:16 | 一個義人所有的雖少、強過許多惡人的富餘。 | A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. |
| | 37:17 | 因為惡人的膀臂、必被折斷．但耶和華是扶持義人。 | For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. |
| | 37:18 | 耶和華知道完全人的日子．他們的產業、要存到永遠。 | The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. |
| | 37:19 | 他們在急難的時候、不至羞愧、在饑荒的日子、必得飽足。 | They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |
| | 37:20 | 惡人卻要滅亡．耶和華的仇敵、要像羊羔的脂油．〔或作像草地的華美〕他們要消滅、要如煙消滅。 | But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. |
| | 37:21 | 惡人借貸而不償還．義人卻恩待人、並且施捨。 | The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |
| | 37:22 | 蒙耶和華賜福的、必承受地土．被他咒詛的、必被剪除。 | For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. |
| | 37:23 | 義人的腳步、被耶和華立定．他的道路、耶和華也喜愛。 | The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. |
| | 37:24 | 他雖失腳、也不至全身仆倒．因為耶和華用手攙扶他。〔或作攙扶他的手〕 | Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. |
| | 37:25 | 我從前年幼、現在年老、卻未見過義人被棄．也未見過他的後裔討飯。 | I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. |
| | 37:26 | 他終日恩待人、借給人．他的後裔也蒙福。 | He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. |
| | 37:27 | 你當離惡行善、就可永遠安居。 | Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. |
| | 37:28 | 因為耶和華喜愛公平、不撇棄他的聖民．他們永蒙保佑．但惡人的後裔必被剪除。 | For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| | 37:29 | 義人必承受地土、永居其上。 | The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. |
| | 37:30 | 義人的口談論智慧、他的舌頭講說公平。 | The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. |
| | 37:31 | 神的律法在他心裏．他的腳總不滑跌。 | The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. |
| | 37:32 | 惡人窺探義人、想要殺他。 | The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. |
| | 37:33 | 耶和華必不撇他在惡人手中、當審判的時候、也不定他的罪。 | The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. |
| | 37:34 | 你當等候耶和華、遵守他的道、他就抬舉你、使你承受地土．惡人被剪除的時候、你必看見。 | Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |
| | 37:35 | 我見過惡人大有勢力、好像一根青翠樹在本土生發。 | I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. |
| | 37:36 | 有人從那裏經過、不料、他沒有了．我也尋找他、卻尋不着。 | Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. |
| | 37:37 | 你要細察那完全人、觀看那正直人．因為和平人有好結局。 | Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. |
| | 37:38 | 至於犯法的人、必一同滅絕．惡人終必剪除。 | But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| | 37:39 | 但義人得救、是由於耶和華．他在患難時作他們的營寨。 | But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. |
| | 37:40 | 耶和華幫助他們、解救他們．他解救他們脫離惡人、把他們救出來、因為他們投靠他。 | And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. |
