| 137:1 | 我們曾在巴比倫的河邊坐下、一追想錫安就哭了。 | By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. |
| 137:2 | 我們把琴掛在那裏的柳樹上。 | We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. |
| 137:3 | 因為在那裏擄掠我們的、要我們唱歌、搶奪我們的、要我們作樂、說、給我們唱一首錫安歌罷。 | For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. |
| 137:4 | 我們怎能在外邦唱耶和華的歌呢。 | How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land? |
| 137:5 | 耶路撒冷阿、我若忘記你、情願我的右手忘記技巧。 | If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. |
| 137:6 | 我若不記念你、若不看耶路撒冷過於我所最喜樂的、情願我的舌頭貼於上膛。 | If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. |
| 137:7 | 耶路撒冷遭難的日子、以東人說拆毀、拆毀、直拆到根基.耶和華阿、求你記念這仇。 | Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. |
| 137:8 | 將要被滅的巴比倫城阿、〔城原文作女子〕報復你、像你待我們的、那人便為有福。 | O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. |
| 137:9 | 拿你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的、那人便為有福。 | Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. |
