新友與舊友
New Friends and Old Friends
結交新友，但與舊友保持親近；
新交是白銀，舊友是黃金。
新交的朋友，如同新酒，
要經過時間才漸更溫醇。
經得起時間和環境改變—
考驗出友誼最真確完滿；
額頭生皺紋，頭髮變白；
友誼絕不會成為朽壞。
因為老朋友，考驗過而真純，
我們會再恢復到青春。
但老朋友們，哀哉！難免喪亡；
新朋友必須把他們的缺補上。
你心懷內總要珍視友誼—
新朋友是好，但舊交是最美無比；
