| | 4:2 | 锡安宝贵的众子、好比精金、现在何竟算为窑匠手所作的瓦瓶。 | The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! |
| | 4:3 | 野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子、我民的妇人倒成为残忍、好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。 | Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. |
| | 4:4 | 吃奶孩子的舌头、因干渴贴住上膛．孩童求饼、无人擘给他们。 | The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. |
| | 4:5 | 素来吃美好食物的、现今在街上变为孤寒．素来卧朱红褥子的、现今躺卧粪堆． | They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. |
| | 4:6 | 都因我众民的罪孽、比所多玛的罪还大．所多玛虽然无人加手于他、还是转眼之间被倾覆。 | For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. |
| | 4:7 | 锡安的贵冑、素来比雪纯净、比奶更白．他们的身体、比红宝玉〔或作珊瑚〕更红、像光润的蓝宝石一样。 | Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: |
| | 4:8 | 现在他们的面貌比煤炭更黑、以致在街上无人认识．他们的皮肤、紧贴骨头、枯干如同槁木。 | Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. |
| | 4:9 | 饿死的、不如被刀杀的、因为这是缺了田间的土产、就身体衰弱、渐渐消灭。 | They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. |
| | 4:10 | 慈悲的妇人、当我众民被毁灭的时候、亲手煮自己的儿女作为食物。 | The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people. |
| | 4:11 | 耶和华发怒成就他所定的、倒出他的烈怒．在锡安使火着起、烧毁锡安的根基。 | The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. |
| | 4:12 | 地上的君王、和世上的居民、都不信敌人和仇敌能进耶路撒冷的城门。 | The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. |
| | 4:13 | 这都因他先知的罪恶、和祭司的罪孽．他们在城中流了义人的血。 | For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, |
| | 4:14 | 他们在街上如瞎子乱走、又被血玷污、以致人不能摸他们的衣服。 | They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. |
| | 4:15 | 人向他们喊着说、不洁净的．躲开、躲开、不要挨近我．他们逃走飘流的时候、列国中有人说、他们不可仍在这里寄居。 | They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. |
| | 4:16 | 耶和华发怒、将他们分散、不再眷顾他们．人不重看祭司、也不厚待长老。 | The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. |
| | 4:17 | 我们仰望人来帮助、以致眼目失明、还是枉然．我们所盼望的、竟盼望一个不能救人的国。 | As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. |
| | 4:18 | 仇敌追赶我们的脚步像打猎的、以致我们不敢在自己的街上行走．我们的结局临近、我们的日子满足、我们的结局来到了。 | They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. |
| | 4:19 | 追赶我们的、比空中的鹰更快．他们在山上追逼我们、在旷野埋伏、等候我们。 | Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. |
| | 4:20 | 耶和华的受膏者、好比我们鼻中的气、在他们的坑中被捉住．我们曾论到他说、我们必在他荫下、在列国中存活。 | The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. |
| | 4:21 | 住乌斯地的以东民哪、只管欢喜快乐．苦杯也必传到你那里．你必喝醉、以致露体。 | Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. |
| | 4:22 | 锡安的民哪、你罪孽的刑罚受足了．耶和华必不使你再被掳去。以东的民哪、他必追讨你的罪孽、显露你的罪恶。 | The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. |
