| | 24:1 | 看哪、耶和華使地空虛、變為荒涼．又翻轉大地、將居民分散。 | Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. |
| | 24:2 | 那時百姓怎樣、祭司也怎樣．僕人怎樣、主人也怎樣．婢女怎樣、主母也怎樣．買物的怎樣、賣物的也怎樣．放債的怎樣、借債的也怎樣．取利的怎樣、出利的也怎樣。 | And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. |
| | 24:3 | 地必全然空虛、盡都荒涼．因為這話是耶和華說的。 | The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. |
| | 24:4 | 地上悲哀衰殘、世界敗落衰殘、地上居高位的人也敗落了。 | The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. |
| | 24:5 | 地被其上的居民污穢．因為他們犯了律法、廢了律例、背了永約。 | The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. |
| | 24:6 | 所以地被咒詛吞滅、住在其上的顯為有罪．地上的居民被火焚燒、剩下的人稀少。 | Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. |
| | 24:7 | 新酒悲哀、葡萄樹衰殘、心中歡樂的、俱都歎息。 | The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh. |
| | 24:8 | 擊鼓之樂止息、宴樂人的聲音完畢、彈琴之樂也止息了。 | The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth. |
| | 24:9 | 人必不得飲酒唱歌．喝濃酒的、必以為苦。 | They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. |
| | 24:10 | 荒涼的城拆毀了．各家關門閉戶、使人都不得進去。 | The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. |
| | 24:11 | 在街上因酒有悲歎的聲音．一切喜樂變為昏暗．地上的歡樂歸於無有。 | There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. |
| | 24:12 | 城中只有荒涼、城門拆毀淨盡。 | In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. |
| | 24:13 | 在地上的萬民中、必像打過的橄欖樹、又像已摘的葡萄所剩無幾。 | When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. |
| | 24:14 | 這些人要高聲歡呼．他們為耶和華的威嚴、從海那裏揚起聲來。 | They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. |
| | 24:15 | 因此你們要在東方榮耀耶和華、在眾海島榮耀耶和華以色列 神的名。 | Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. |
| | 24:16 | 我們聽見從地極有人歌唱、說、榮耀歸於義人。我卻說、我消滅了、我消滅了、我有禍了．詭詐的行詭詐、詭詐的大行詭詐。 | From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. |
| | 24:17 | 地上的居民哪、恐懼、陷坑、網羅、都臨近你。 | Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. |
| | 24:18 | 躲避恐懼聲音的必墜入陷坑．從陷坑上來的必被網羅纏住．因為天上的窗戶都開了、地的根基也震動了。 | And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. |
| | 24:19 | 地全然破壞、盡都崩裂、大大的震動了。 | The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. |
| | 24:20 | 地要東倒西歪、好像醉酒的人．又搖來搖去、好像吊床．罪過在其上沉重、必然塌陷、不能復起。 | The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. |
| | 24:21 | 到那日耶和華在高處必懲罰高處的眾軍、在地上必懲罰地上的列王。 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. |
| | 24:22 | 他們必被聚集、像囚犯被聚在牢獄中、並要囚在監牢裏、多日之後便被討罪。〔或作眷顧〕 | And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. |
| | 24:23 | 那時月亮要蒙羞、日頭要慚愧．因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山、在耶路撒冷作王．在敬畏他的長老面前、必有榮耀。 | Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. |
