| | 12:8 | 迦得支派中、有人到曠野的山寨投奔大衛、都是大能的勇士、能拿盾牌和槍的戰士．他們的面貌好像獅子、快跑如同山上的鹿． | And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains; |

| | 12:14 | 這都是迦得人中的軍長．至小的能抵一百人、至大的能抵一千人。 | These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand. |
| | 12:15 | 正月、約但河水漲過兩岸的時候、他們過河、使一切住平原的人、東奔西逃。 | These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west. |

| | 12:19 | 大衛從前與非利士人同去、要與掃羅爭戰．有些瑪拿西人來投奔大衛、他們卻沒有幫助非利士人．因為非利士人的首領、商議打發他們回去、說、恐怕大衛拿我們的首級、歸降他的主人掃羅。 | And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads. |
| | 12:20 | 大衛往洗革拉去的時候、有瑪拿西人的千夫長押拿、約撒拔、耶疊、米迦勒、約撒拔、以利戶、洗勒太都來投奔他。 | As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh. |
| | 12:21 | 這些人幫助大衛攻擊群賊．他們都是大能的勇士、且作軍長。 | And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host. |
| | 12:22 | 那時、天天有人來幫助大衛、以致成了大軍、如 神的軍一樣。 | For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God. |
| | 12:23 | 預備打仗的兵來到希伯崙見大衛、要照着耶和華的話、將掃羅的國位歸與大衛、他們的數目如下． | And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD. |
| | 12:24 | 猶大支派、拿盾牌和槍預備打仗的、有六千八百人。 | The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war. |
| | 12:25 | 西緬支派、能上陣大能的勇士、有七千一百人。 | Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred. |
| | 12:26 | 利未支派有四千六百人。 | Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred. |
| | 12:27 | 耶何耶大是亞倫家的首領．跟從他的有三千七百人． | And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred; |
| | 12:28 | 還有少年大能的勇士撒督．同着他的有族長二十二人。 | And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house twenty and two captains. |
| | 12:29 | 便雅憫支派、掃羅的族弟兄、也有三千人、他們向來大半歸順掃羅家。 | And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul. |
| | 12:30 | 以法蓮支派、大能的勇士、在本族著名的有二萬零八百人。 | And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers. |
| | 12:31 | 瑪拿西半支派、冊上有名的共一萬八千人、都來立大衛作王。 | And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king. |
| | 12:32 | 以薩迦支派、有二百族長、都通達時務、知道以色列人所當行的、他們族弟兄都聽從他們的命令。 | And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. |
| | 12:33 | 西布倫支派、能上陣、用各樣兵器打仗、行伍整齊、不生二心的、有五萬人。 | Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart. |
| | 12:34 | 拿弗他利支派、有一千軍長、跟從他們拿盾牌和槍的、有三萬七千人。 | And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand. |
| | 12:35 | 但支派、能擺陣的有二萬八千六百人。 | And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred. |
| | 12:36 | 亞設支派、能上陣打仗的有四萬人。 | And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand. |
| | 12:37 | 約但河東的流便支派、迦得支派、瑪拿西半支派、拿着各樣兵器打仗的有十二萬人。 | And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand. |
| | 12:38 | 以上都是能守行伍的戰士、他們都誠心來到希伯崙、要立大衛作以色列的王．以色列其餘的人也都一心要立大衛作王。 | All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king. |
| | 12:39 | 他們在那裏三日、與大衛一同喫喝．因為他們的族弟兄給他們預備了。 | And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them. |
| | 12:40 | 靠近他們的人、以及以薩迦、西布倫、拿弗他利人、將許多麵餅、無花果餅、乾葡萄、酒、油、用驢、駱駝、騾子、牛、馱來、又帶了許多的牛和羊來．因為以色列人甚是歡樂。 | Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel. |
