| 3:1 | 主萬軍之耶和華從耶路撒冷和猶大、除掉眾人所倚靠的、所仗賴的、就是所倚靠的糧、所仗賴的水. | For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water. |
| 3:2 | 除掉勇士、和戰士、審判官、和先知、占卜的、和長老. | The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, |
| 3:3 | 五十夫長、和尊貴人.謀士、和有巧藝的、以及妙行法術的。 | The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. |
| 3:4 | 主說、我必使孩童作他們的首領、使嬰孩轄管他們。 | And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. |
| 3:5 | 百姓要彼此欺壓、各人受鄰舍的欺壓.少年人必侮慢老年人、卑賤人必侮慢尊貴人。 | And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. |
| 3:6 | 人在父家拉住弟兄、說、你有衣服、可以作我們的官長、這敗落的事歸在你手下罷. | When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: |
| 3:7 | 那時他必揚聲說、我不作醫治你們的人.因我家中沒有糧食、也沒有衣服.你們不可立我作百姓的官長。 | In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. |
| 3:8 | 耶路撒冷敗落、猶大傾倒.因為他們的舌頭、和行為、與耶和華反對、惹了他榮光的眼目。 | For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. |
| 3:9 | 他們的面色證明自己的不正.他們述說自己的罪惡、並不隱瞞、好像所多瑪一樣。他們有禍了.因為作惡自害。 | The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. |
| 3:10 | 你們要論義人說、他必享福樂.因為要喫自己行為所結的果子。 | Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. |
| 3:11 | 惡人有禍了.他必遭災難.因為要照自己手所行的受報應。 | Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. |
| 3:12 | 至於我的百姓、孩童欺壓他們、婦女轄管他們。我的百姓阿、引導你的、使你走錯、並毀壞你所行的道路。 | As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. |
| 3:13 | 耶和華起來辯論、站着審判眾民。 | The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. |
| 3:14 | 耶和華必審問他民中的長老、和首領、說、喫盡葡萄園果子的、就是你們.向貧窮人所奪的、都在你們家中。 | The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. |
| 3:15 | 主萬軍之耶和華說、你們為何壓制我的百姓搓磨貧窮人的臉呢。 | What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. |
| 3:16 | 耶和華又說、因為錫安的女子狂傲、行走挺項、賣弄眼目、俏步徐行、腳下玎璫. | Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: |
| 3:17 | 所以主必使錫安的女子頭長禿瘡、耶和華又使他們赤露下體。 | Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts. |
| 3:18 | 到那日、主必除掉他們華美的腳釧、髮網、月牙圈. | In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, |
| 3:19 | 耳環、手鐲、蒙臉的帕子. | The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, |
| 3:20 | 華冠、足鍊、華帶、香盒、符囊. | The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, |
| 3:21 | 戒指、鼻環. | The rings, and nose jewels, |
| 3:22 | 吉服、外套、雲肩、荷包. | The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, |
| 3:23 | 手鏡、細麻衣、裹頭巾、蒙身的帕子。 | The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. |
| 3:24 | 必有臭爛代替馨香、繩子代替腰帶、光禿代替美髮、麻衣繫腰代替華服、烙傷代替美容。 | And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. |
| 3:25 | 你的男丁、必倒在刀下、你的勇士、必死在陣上。 | Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. |
| 3:26 | 錫安〔原文作他〕的城門必悲傷、哀號.他必荒涼坐在地上。 | And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. |
