| | 7:2 | 那時、王對先知拿單說、看哪、我住在香柏木的宮中、 神的約櫃反在幔子裏。 | That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains. |
| | 7:3 | 拿單對王說、你可以照你的心意而行、因為耶和華與你同在。 | And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee. |
| | 7:4 | 當夜耶和華的話臨到拿單說、 | And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan, saying, |
| | 7:5 | 你去告訴我僕人大衛說、耶和華如此說、你豈可建造殿宇給我居住呢。 | Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? |
| | 7:6 | 自從我領以色列人出埃及直到今日、我未曾住過殿宇、常在會幕和帳幕中行走。 | Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle. |
| | 7:7 | 凡我同以色列人所走的地方、我何曾向以色列一支派的士師、就是我吩咐牧養我民以色列的、說、你們為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢。 | In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar? |
| | 7:8 | 現在你要告訴我僕人大衛說、萬軍之耶和華如此說、我從羊圈中將你召來、叫你不再跟從羊群、立你作我民以色列的君。 | Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: |
| | 7:9 | 你無論往那裏去、我常與你同在、剪除你的一切仇敵．我必使你得大名、好像世上大大有名的人一樣。 | And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth. |
| | 7:10 | 我必為我民以色列選定一個地方、栽培他們、使他們住自己的地方、不再遷移．兇惡之子、也不像從前擾害他們． | Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime, |
| | 7:11 | 並不像我命士師治理我民以色列的時候一樣．我必使你安靖、不被一切仇敵擾亂．並且我耶和華應許你、必為你建立家室。 | And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house. |
| | 7:12 | 你壽數滿足、與你列祖同睡的時候、我必使你的後裔接續你的位、我也必堅定他的國。 | And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. |
| | 7:13 | 他必為我的名建造殿宇、我必堅定他的國位、直到永遠。 | He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. |
| | 7:14 | 我要作他的父、他要作我的子、他若犯了罪、我必用人的杖責打他、用人的鞭責罰他。 | I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: |
| | 7:15 | 但我的慈愛仍不離開他、像離開在你面前所廢棄的掃羅一樣。 | But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. |
| | 7:16 | 你的家和你的國、必在我〔原文作你〕面前永遠堅立．你的國位也必堅定、直到永遠。 | And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. |
| | 7:17 | 拿單就按這一切話、照這默示、告訴大衛。 | According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David. |
| | 7:18 | 於是大衛王進去、坐在耶和華面前、說主耶和華阿、我是誰、我的家算甚麼、你竟使我到這地步呢。 | Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? |
| | 7:19 | 主耶和華阿、這在你眼中還看為小、又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華阿、這豈是人所常遇的事麼。 | And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD? |
| | 7:20 | 主耶和華阿、我還有何言可以對你說呢、因為你知道你的僕人。 | And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant. |
| | 7:21 | 你行這大事使僕人知道、是因你所應許的話、也是照你的心意。 | For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. |
| | 7:22 | 主耶和華阿、你本為大．照我們耳中聽見沒有可比你的．除你以外再無 神。 | Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. |
| | 7:23 | 世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢。你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民、又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事、驅逐列邦人和他們的神、顯出你的大名。 | And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? |
| | 7:24 | 你曾堅立你的民以色列、作你的子民直到永遠．你耶和華也作了他們的 神。 | For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God. |
| | 7:25 | 耶和華 神阿、你所應許僕人、和僕人家的話、求你堅定直到永遠．照你所說的而行。 | And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said. |
| | 7:26 | 願人永遠尊你的名為大、說萬軍之耶和華是治理以色列的 神．這樣、你僕人大衛的家必在你面前堅立。 | And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee. |
| | 7:27 | 萬軍之耶和華以色列的 神阿、因你啟示你的僕人、說、我必為你建立家室、所以僕人大膽向你如此祈禱。 | For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. |
| | 7:28 | 主耶和華阿、惟有你是 神．你的話是真實的、你也應許將這福氣賜給僕人。 | And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: |
| | 7:29 | 現在求你賜福與僕人的家、可以永存在你面前．主耶和華阿、這是你所應許的、願你永遠賜福與僕人的家。 | Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever. |
