凌風 譯

最後
霧已升起，
雲已消散；
我飄泊的靈魂，
也被高舉
到光明中間。
最後
那呼召臨到，
帶着能力，
我的靈魂升高，
神已勝過了
死亡的黑夜。
最後
野心受到摧敗
不再被其搖擺，
口渴得以紓解，
良善得以持定
成為神聖。
最後
我心得到滿足，
雖然違背本性
同意這樣決定
絕不後悔返顧
行這道路。

Decision

At last
The fog has lifted,
The clouds have sifted;
My soul, which drifted,
Has been uplifted
Into the light.
At last
The call's descended,
Power with it blended,
My soul's ascended,
God has transcended
Mortal night.
At last
Ambition's breaking
From all that's shaking,
The thirst it's slaking,
The good it's taking
Is divine.
At last
I am contented,
Though thought demented
To have consented
And not repented,
To take this course.
